Many peptides discussed here are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the uses described, and some cannot currently be lawfully compounded. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality. Discussion of a substance on this site does not mean Youthful Medicine prescribes it or that it is legally available. Regulatory status is labeled on each peptide page, is current as of the review date shown, and may change.
Research-grade products
Products sold as “research chemicals” or “not for human use” are not medications. We strongly advise against using them.
Evidence and results
Scientific evidence for many peptides is limited, early or based on animal studies. Each page states the level of evidence. Individual results vary, and no outcome is guaranteed.
